About Your Virginia Beach Certified Hypnotist
My name is Marcelina Hardy, and I’m a board certified hypnotist offering in-person sessions in Virginia Beach. My background blends clinical training with deep spiritual curiosity — which tends to be exactly what this work calls for.
I hold a BA in Psychology and an MSEd in Counseling, and I’m board certified through the National Guild of Hypnotists and the National Board for Certified Clinical Hypnotherapists. I completed Level 1 and Level 2 Clinical Hypnosis training through the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis and am currently completing my PhD in Metaphysical Psychology.
My past life regression training came through the Edgar Cayce A.R.E. right here in Virginia Beach — an institution I have genuine respect for and feel connected to as part of this community.
Before focusing on hypnosis, I spent years in recovery coaching and case management supporting people navigating mental health challenges. That background shapes how I work: with patience, without judgment, and with real attention to your emotional safety.

Yes — all session types are available virtually. Many clients prefer working from home, and the depth of the experience is just as real online. You’ll just need a quiet space and a reliable internet connection.
Do I have to believe in past lives for past life regression to work?
Not at all. Many clients approach it from a purely psychological angle — the subconscious mind communicating through symbolic story. Whether the experiences are literal or metaphorical, the insights that come from them tend to be very real either way.
I’ve tried therapy and still feel stuck. Is hypnosis right for me?
Quite possibly, yes. This is one of the most common reasons people find their way to hypnosis. If you’ve done meaningful work in therapy but feel like there’s another layer that talking alone doesn’t reach, that’s exactly what hypnosis is designed to access.
Is hypnosis safe?
